Comanche Trails District

The Comanche Trails District serves Andrews, Ector, Loving, Ward, and Winkler counties.

Volunteer Search
We are looking for parents and past volunteers to help with district operation. We are currently looking for Roundtable staffs, Commissioners to add to our staff, and committee members for several of the District’s committees. If you know of someone who would be good to help with training, recruitment, commissioner work, or has other attributes that would be beneficial to Scouting, please let us know. Meetings Schedule

District Committee meets on the Third Tuesday of each month. The meeting is from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and is held at the Odessa Police Department located at 205 N. Grant Odessa,TX.

District Commissioners meet on the Third Tuesday of each month, immediately following the District Committee meeting. The meeting starts at 7:30pm and is held at the Bethany Christian Church located at 4522 N Everglade Odessa,TX Parkway.

District Cub and Scout Roundtables meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 5401 Jon Ben Shepperd Parkway at 7:00pm. Den and Troop Leaders, this is a great training opportunity for you to get some ideas for your next month’s program. This is a great place to get new ideas for your meetings, network with other unit leaders and prepare for the upcoming month.

Note: Any changes due to holidays will be announced on this website, at roundtables, in the tracks and in any mailings to district committee members.

  • Cub Scout Segment PatchCub Scout Segment Program – The Cub Scout Committee of the Buffalo Trail Council is excited to announce and launch a brand new recognition program for council Cub Scouts! Your boys can earn a variety of exciting new patch segments by participating in a variety of activities sponsored by your Pack. Everything from ranks earned to fire safety and from horseback riding to popcorn sales, there is an award to be earned! These segments can be sewn around a center patch (pictured) so boys can be proud to show their accomplishments.   • PAY ONLINE – To pay for any Buffalo Trail Council event online, please use the following link.  This will allow you to pay any fees associated with the event via check or credit card, through our secure online payment system.  Remember, you must turn in the individual registration forms to the event!  Just mark “Paid Online” on the form and email, fax, or mail your registration form in to get on the list for the event.  Thank you!
